On Wednesday 29th July, Team Strommen is off to the European Cup, more specifically to Osijek in Croatia. Osijek is a town about 50 kilometers from Zagreb.

Of these players, Rhian is injured. She received a blow in the back and fractured a bone against the United States last weekend, so she will be sitting out. Ida had an injury during the practice game against Swedish side Mallbacken and it is unlikely she will play in any of these games. Maritha Kaufmann, Linn-Cecilie Burås are both injured and left at home and Tonje H. Boork is unable to travel.

 

The team's situation is obviously not very good, but we can only play as well as we are able. This should be a hard-nosed match, but a fun trip with plenty to learn. Obviously, our aim is to come out as the winner of our Group and we will do our utmost to achieve this.
