TEAM STROMMEN ADDS ANOTHER TO ITS ROW OF VICTORIES

Team Strommen's 5 - 1 victory over Sandviken
in Bergenb gives the team four wins out of the five last games and shared third
place for the Toppserien title.

The last loss for Team Strømmen was 1st
May 2009. Since then, they have played 7 games including a Norway Cup match, and
only Floya has avoided defeat, and they earned a draw. Team Strømmen is
producing great performances and their fitness looks good. As Coach Janne
Jansson comments, "The results are great and the team
works well. I’m not surprised that we are among the teams fighting for the top
four positions."
These top four rankings are being contested with
Røa, Stabæk and Kolbotn. Last season, Team
Strommen had a total of 14 victories and this was good enough for the silver
medal. This season they have 6 victories after 10 games and they have earned
points in all but 1 game.
Three of Team Strommen's next six games will
be against the leaders: Røa, Kolbotn and Stabæk. These games will be critical to
the final standings. Janssen notes that "there are many games left, but it’s all
up to us. It’s going to be fun playing these teams."
Yesterday's match against Sandviken started
out badly as the hoimw team scored at 8 minutes. But, just three minutes later,
Anne Stenstvedt brought the scores even. Then, after 19 minutes it was 1-3 with
scores from Ingrid Wang Andersen and Ida Elise Enget to establ;ish a comfortable
lead.
