RHIAN'S SOCCER JOURNALS:

THE LONDON THEATRE AS TRIP WINDS DOWN  10th December 2008

Please accept another apology from me for the infrequent journals. We have been staying with my aunt in South Wales and she has no internet access in her house. She lives in Cowbridge, South Glamorgan, and even though the town is quite large, judged by Welsh standards, there seems to be no public computer access anywhere.

Mamma Mia! booking period extended

I will skip the mundane details of how we have spent the last few days, but we are doing well, and we recently sallied forth for our first day in London. We are still enjoying every minute of the trip, but we are looking forward to getting home, and away from one another for Christmas. We should be back by 15th December, so less than a week.

While we were in London we saw the sights - or at least a few of them - and we capped the evening off in excellent style. We headed for the theatre district and  went to see Mama Mia in the west end.

Unfortunately, this is probably about the 10th time that D has seen the show, but she doesn't seem to care much how many times she gets to go. She is perhaps one of the biggest fans of ABBA and the stage performance. For Amy and I this was our first-time, and it was quite an experience. We now seen to be hooked on the stage, as we are going to line up for cheap tickets to another live performance for tonight.
