STROMMEN DEFEATS TOP OF TABLE ROA 6th October 2008

With Rhian and Diana Matheson on the forward line, Team Strommen continued their impressive run in the Norwegian Topserrien League. Team Strommen defeated the head of the table Roa team by 2 - 1 on Sunday afternoon.

Before Sunday's game, Roa had not lost a game this season, only tying once. Team Strommen, fourth in the table used their speed and aggression to win after trailing 0 - 1 early in the first half. By half-time the score was 2-1, and Team Strommen might have had more goals. Their victory has moved them up one place to third, and they are unbeaten since Rhian and Diana arrived to join the team.

Diana Matheson picked up a yellow card and a goal in the match. The two teams will meet again in the Norway Cup Final on 1st November.
