RHIAN'S SOCCER JOURNALS: STROMMEN VS KATTEM 21st September 2008 On 20th September, 2008 we played another team in the lower half of the table, Kattem, to round out the regular league season. They played well against us, staying aggressive and keeping their shape for most of the game, but we still won by 4 - 1. Our first goal came at the twenty minute mark, and we penetrated and attacked well all game to win easily. The match was good preparation for the most important game we still have on Thursday 25th September, when we play against Asker in the semi Finals of the Norway Cup. Of course, Asker is the team that Amy plays for as well. Webmaster's note: Rhian was sent the attached photo from Pointe-Claire in Quebec. It was taken in August, during the Olympics, when the Pointe-Claire team was playing in the Quebec Lakeshore All Star tournament. Keely had Rhian's photo sitting beside the television throughout the Games, and their mother reports that the three girls see Rhian as their role model and inspiration for playing soccer. She says," You cannot imagine the impact you have had on these little girls. It is wonderful."
